Milwaukee Introduces Oscillating Multi-Tool for the M12 System

By   /

The M12 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool is the latest addition to Milwaukee Tool’s M12 FUEL cordless tool platform.

It is made to offer quick cuts and minimal full-tool vibration.

It also comes with tool-free blade change features for nail and grout removal, plunge and rip cuts, and bolt cutting applications.

The Oscillating Multi-Tool is similar to all M12 system tools.

This includes Milwaukee Tool’s POWERSTATE Brushless Motor and REDLINK PLUS intelligence hardware and software built in.

Some features are:

  • Performance of up to 10,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute
  • An oscillation angle of 3.9 degrees
  • Dampening technology that minimizes vibration throughout the entire tool

Once it is equipped with a M12 RedLithium XC4.0 battery, the product can perform up to 54 1- or 2-inch cuts in oak or 65 1- or 2-inch cuts in pine with one charge.

A 12-setting speed dial and an integrated LED visibility light are additional features that provide value.

The M12 Oscillating Multi-Tool is set to enter the market in September.

The tool kit starts at $219. At this price it includes:

  • One 12M RedLithium XC4.0 battery
  • An M12 charger
  • A Universal Fit OPEN-LOK Oscillating Multi-Tool wood blade
  • A Multi-Tool sanding pad, 60, 80, 120, and 240-grit sandpaper
  • A lunchbox carrying bag.
