South Carolina’s Four Corners will Distribute Black Label Lumber
Tropical Forest Products has partnered with Four Corners Building Supply to become an official distributor of Tropical Forest Products’ Black Label brand of quality Ipe, Cumaru, Garapa, and other tropical hardwoods. Four Corners services the Low Country region from its headquarters in North Charleston, South Carolina.
“The high standards of our Black Label architectural grade lumber meet Four Corners’ customers’ quality and service needs,” stated Brian Lotz, technical director for Tropical Forest Products. “This is a fantastic opportunity to expand our distribution in the high-demand wood market of South Carolina.”
“I’ve been buying tropical hardwood decking in the Charleston area for over 30 years,” said Larry Broadway, Four Corners purchasing manager. “By far the best quality, consistency, and breadth of product offerings I have seen in the market.” When combined with Tropical Forest Products’ Legal Lumber Due Care environmental compliance program, we are confident that our customers will receive not only the best hardwood decking outcome possible, but also the most ethically sourced hardwood decking, accessories, and cladding products on the market at competitive prices.”
According to the brand, each board must be Premium Architectural Grade or superior to achieve the Black Label distinction, with applications ranging from decking, cladding, and ceilings to wood proportions and architectural millwork.
According to Tropical Forest Products, Black Label outperforms the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Unifloresta for the brand’s 100% legally sourced Ipe, Cumaru, Jatoba, Garapa, BulletWood, and Tigerwood. They also have thermally modified Kebony and ThermoWood available with Novawood technology.
