LP Building Solutions Adds to Smartside Products with Smooth Finish Vertical Sliding

LP Building Solutions has released a new siding product, the LP SmartSide Smooth Finish Vertical Siding.

It meets the modern farmhouse design trend and acts as a complement to the company’s recently introduced SmartSide Smooth Finish Narrow Trim.

“We are seeing a resurgence in the demand for board and batten style siding, particularly as homeowners are continuing to gravitate toward the modern farmhouse aesthetic,” says Cameron Bailey, LP SmartSide’s senior brand manager.

The board-and-batten style siding uses engineered wood strand technology, and is available pre-primed for paint adhesion.

The siding is available in 16-foot lengths to reduce horizontal joints.

It is made to tolerate humidity, impacts, fungal decay, and freeze/thaw cycle damage.

“Following the launch of LP’s smooth narrow trim late last year, we are now introducing smooth vertical siding to provide customers added design flexibility to meet an array of aesthetic preferences,” continues Cameron Bailey.
