H. Arnold Wood Turning was founded by Herman Arnold and his son William in 1919. They opened shop in Brooklyn, New York making hand turnings. Not too long thereafter, always the innovator, H. Arnold Wood Turning began to use some of the first semi automated wood lathes. During the Great Depression of the 1930’s, the company concentrated on making wooden buttons which helped them ride out the harsh economic times.
H. Arnold Wood Turning remains a family run business in its fourth generation!! Led by Bruce Arnold and his son Jonathan, they run a team of highly skilled and experienced sales members, who together have over 175 years of experience in the industry! H.
