To help protect against moisture, a built-in water-resistive barrier helps eliminate the risk of water becoming trapped between the building wrap and sheathing while allowing panels to properly dry. Taped seams form a continuous, rigid air barrier to help reduce unwanted air leakage for an energy-efficient exterior. For sills, curves, corners, wall penetrations and other challenging applications, ZIP System™ stretch tape locks out moisture, even over mismatched surfaces, with its unique ability to stretch in all directions and even lift for reapplication.
