Wood Partners Breaks Ground on Alta Mile High, a Local Art Inspired Community in Denver
Wood Partners, a leading national multifamily real estate developer, has announced the groundbreaking of Alta Mile High, its newest residential neighborhood in Denver, Colorado.
The project is now under development, and the community is scheduled to open in early 2025, with pre-leasing beginning at the end of 2024.
The community, located at 1450 Morrison Road, just south of Mile High Stadium, is a perfect live-work-play destination. Its proximity to Downtown, access to I-25, and five-minute walk to Light Rail make it an easy commute. Residents will also appreciate the proximity to entertainment, such as Mile High Stadium and Meow Wolf, as well as the plentiful green space on the South Platte River Trail and Sloan’s Lake.
“We are thrilled to be breaking ground on Alta Mile High, our marquee project in the City of Denver,” said Walter Armer, Managing Director of Wood Partners. “This neighborhood will give residents with some really great amenities, proximity to jobs and intriguing entertainment alternatives. It truly checks all of the criteria. Wood Partners is thrilled to be adding more high-quality housing to this dynamic city.”
When finished, the community will have 216 apartment homes with one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor layouts. Studio PBA, a local architectural firm, developed the project, which has an artsy, pleasant vibe. Each home will come completely equipped with high-end finishes such as stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, 42″ cabinets, bespoke wood type flooring in the kitchen and living rooms, and full-sized washing and dryers. All homes will have either a built-in desk or an area dedicated to a home office for enhanced convenience.
Residents will be able to enjoy a variety of community amenities throughout Alta Mile High, including a resort-style swimming pool and spa, three different amenity courtyards, an on-site pet spa, and a rooftop deck with stunning City and Mountain views. The property will also have a cutting-edge fitness center as well as a private office lounge with micro-offices and a conference area.
While the project is located along historic Old Colfax, the region will experience considerable new expansion in office, residential, hotel, and commercial development over the next ten years as a result of the Broncos Stadium District Plan. This makes it an ideal location for people of all ages to appreciate everything the Mile High City has to offer.
