US LBM Opens New Central Florida Truss Manufacturing and Distribution Facility

US LBM, a prominent specialist building materials distributor in the United States, has constructed a new floor and roof truss manufacturing facility as well as a building materials yard in Auburndale, Florida.

The new 100,600-square-foot plant is located 40 miles northeast of Tampa and 60 miles southwest of Orlando and is part of US LBM’s Raymond Building Supplies division, which serves professional builders throughout Florida.

In addition to operating three roof truss lines and one floor truss line, the new facility supplies timber, engineered wood products, cabinetry, windows, custom millwork, and external and interior doors to residential and commercial builders in central Florida.

Raymond Building Supply’s Auburndale location is the company’s third in Florida; the division of US LBM also has manufacturing operations in North Fort Myers and Miami.

Over the last year, US LBM has acquired 15 component manufacturing plants through acquisitions and greenfield expansions.
