US LBM Adds Florida’s Milton Truss

US LBM, a major distributor of specialist building materials in the United States, has acquired Milton Truss, a top manufacturer and distributor of structural construction components based in Florida.

Milton Truss has been serving the Florida Panhandle and southern Alabama for over 40 years, manufacturing floor and roof trusses for commercial and residential clients at its cutting-edge Milton facility.

With the acquisition of Milton Truss, which will become part of Raymond Building Supply, US LBM now has six component manufacturing facilities in Florida.

Charles Smith and Tim Noble will continue to oversee Milton’s day-to-day activities.

“The addition of Milton Truss expands our network of truss manufacturing locations in the Southeast, increasing the value we bring to builders in Florida’s Panhandle and southern Alabama, and we’re pleased to welcome the Milton team to US LBM,” US LBM President and CEO L.T. Gibson stated.
