Sciens Building Solutions Acquires Third Pennsylvania Company

Sciens Building Solutions announced the addition of Eastern Time, Incorporated of Allentown, Pennsylvania to its growing portfolio of enterprises.

This acquisition expands Sciens’ footprint in Pennsylvania, where it already has operations in Plymouth Meeting (Electronic Security Solutions) and Perkiomenville (Anchor Fire Protection). ETI, like these locations, is centered in Northeast and Central Pennsylvania, where it has been in operation since 1982, with a primary office in Allentown and two additional locations in Wilkes-Barre and Chambersburg.

Chuck founded Eastern Time in 1982, at the age of 29, as a working founder with the goal of building a firm dedicated to team management and cost-effective life safety system integration design. Marc and Bryan, his two sons, joined the company 17 years ago and have led the executive management team for the past six. Chuck’s dedication to “customer safety first” is a core concept that pervades every fiber of Eastern Time. ETI has worked with a variety of vertical markets since its beginnings, including education, business, healthcare, institutional, industrial/warehouse, government/military, property management, and casino/entertainment venues. Now, their team of life safety professionals, which includes engineering, project management, and CAD personnel, has the breadth and understanding needed to handle any size design-build project.
