HST Materials, Inc. Acquired by JBC Technologies
JBC Technologies, a leading flexible materials converter, has acquired HST Materials, Inc., an ISO-9001 certified converter based in the Chicago suburbs.
JBC’s geographic footprint will be strategically expanded as a result of the acquisition, as will its market presence in the automotive and off-road transportation sectors.
HST has a proven track record of providing quality die-cut, extruded, and molded seals and gaskets to OEMs and Tier suppliers.
“We are thrilled to welcome the team at HST Materials into the JBC family,” said Todd Wright, CEO of JBC.
“The HST Team has a strong reputation of providing world-class customer service and technical expertise which is a great fit with JBC competitive advantage of manufacturing excellence, engineering innovation, and supply chain optimization.”
The addition of HST Materials, Inc. to JBC Technologies expands the company’s already extensive converting and inspection capabilities by adding peel adhesion testing and spooling, as well as redundant capacity in precision slitting, dieless cutting, and rotary and platen press die-cutting.
It also provides the HST customer base with access to JBC’s extensive stable of high-speed, state-of-the-art rotary die-cutting equipment and clean room processing capabilities.
“We are excited to be working with JBC Technologies. Eric and I are pleased to know that HST Materials will continue to expand and provide the level of service and experience that our many loyal customers have come to expect for more than three decades “Kathy Miller, the former owner of HST Materials, stated.
JBC Technologies has made the third in a series of strategic moves in recent months. In November, the company expanded its Wisconsin facility, and in December, it acquired Colorado-based Die-Cut Technologies.
