Smith Roberts & Associates Structural Engineers to Join ARCO Design/Build Team

ARCO Design/Build has announced that Smith Roberts & Associates, a respected engineering business, will operate as ADB Structural Engineering as an extension of ARCO DB Companies, Inc.

“We’re excited about joining forces and expanding the impact and delivery of ADB Structural Engineering,” SRA President Tom Smith stated.

“SRA and ARCO have a long history of working together to deliver industry leading solutions for industrial clients. We look forward to continuing our work together as one team.”

ARCO, an established leader in design-build construction, has been increasing their in-house design skills by establishing their architectural department, ADB Design Services, in 2017 and ADB Structural Engineering in 2020.

Both organizations offer architectural and structural design services for ARCO-related projects in industrial speculative buildings and build-to-suit projects across the country.

“Our groups in the Northeast and Indianapolis have been working with Tom and the SRA Team for close to 15 years,” said ADB Structural Engineering Vice President and Director of Structural Engineering Andrew Long.

ARCO’s capacity to oversee every part and detail of a project is enhanced by in-house structural engineering.

ADB Structural Engineering maintains continual communication with design/build managers and architectural teams throughout the length of a project to finalize designs as efficiently as feasible and to guarantee the construction team has the support they require.
