Rebranding: ABM to Green Tree Risk Partners

Allied Building Material Agency (ABM) has launched a rebrand to Green Tree Risk Partners, a company with a historical history in Philadelphia.

A member company of Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Group (PLM), Green Tree Risk Partners operates as a wholesale brokerage and program business placement specialist providing workers’ compensation, property, casualty, commercial auto, umbrella and other coverages for wood-related businesses throughout the US.

Green Tree Risk Partners is named after the historic Mutual Assurance Company for Insuring Houses from Loss by Fire, also known as the Green Tree, a company with deep roots in Philadelphia’s history. Dating back to 1784, the Green Tree was founded by former policyholders of the Philadelphia Contributionship to insure those who were denied coverage because they had trees on their property. The history of the Green Tree mirrors that of PLM’s, which as a company was formed as a solution to offer coverage to those with unique needs. PLM was founded more than 125 years ago by lumbermen for lumbermen and continues to specialize in serving the insurance and risk management needs of the lumber and wood niche.

Green Tree Risk Partners will work alongside PLM with business owners in the wood speciality to provide workers’ compensation and related coverages to supplement PLM’s array of products and services.
