Nation’s Best acquires Advanced Window Systems

Nation’s Best has joined forces with Advanced Window Systems (AWS), one of the region’s leading providers of premium windows and doors.

AWS maintains a large warehouse south of Dallas as well as a showroom in the Dallas Design District where customers and suppliers can meet.

“While our previous acquisitions have concentrated on home centers and hardware stores, AWS provides us with a unique opportunity to enhance our window and door offerings across all of our locations nationwide while capturing even more sales in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.”

For over 20 years, AWS has provided high-end residential and commercial windows and doors to contractors and homeowners for new construction and renovation projects.

Owner Steve Johnson will retire during the transition to Nation’s Best, but his sons Dustin and Seth, as well as son-in-law Mitch Raymond, will continue to lead the company.

“AWS has done an outstanding job of being a market leader in terms of quality and service for premium construction and renovation projects,” Miller said.

“With this acquisition, we will be able to leverage their expertise and vendor relationships in the door and window product segments while expanding their reach to all of our other locations.”

Advanced Window Systems will continue to operate under its current name as part of Nation’s Best’s strategy, with its key leadership team overseeing company operations alongside Nation’s Best, which will provide strategic and financial support.
