Fencing Supply Group Acquires Vinyl by Design

Fencing Supply Group, a major distributor and producer of fencing and outdoor living goods, announced the acquisition of Vinyl by Design, a full-service provider of vinyl fence, vinyl railing, decking, and aluminum railing and fence in New Paris, Indiana.

Fencing Supply Group is a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, a Houston-based operationally focused middle market private equity firm.

Sterling has extensive experience in the construction supplies distribution market, having previously co-founded Roofing Supply Group, Construction Supply Group, and Artisan Design Group alongside entrepreneur founders.

Sterling and Fencing Supply Group want to continue supporting the platform through organic growth initiatives and an active acquisition strategy.

Vinyl by Design is the Fencing Supply platform’s seventh acquisition.
