CertainTeed Starts Production at the New STONEfacade Plant

Saint-Gobain, through its building products subsidiary CertainTeed LLC, has begun production at its newest North American production site, its first STONEfacade plant, strategically located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and designed to increase the company’s capacity of this product tenfold.

STONEfacade is a concrete stone veneer system that, according to CertainTeed, can be installed quickly and easily by any siding contractor without the need for special equipment or masonry skills.

“We’re excited to bring our new STONEfacade products to more customers around the country, and we’re proud to add another American factory to our manufacturing portfolio,” Joe Bondi, vice president, and general manager of the CertainTeed Sidings Product Group stated.

“Our STONEfacade products allow siding contractors to offer more solutions to their clients, while ultimately saving installation time and costs without compromising on aesthetics. Our new plant in Quakertown will help our customers capitalize on this innovative product and ride the wave of increased demand for stone siding products.”

The STONEfacade stone veneer system is available in a variety of color palettes that are hand painted on each individual panel and can be coordinated with a variety of CertainTeed siding and roofing colors.
