Beacon To Expands Its Waterproofing Division
After the acquisitions of Coastal Construction Products and Whitney Building Products in the fourth quarter of last year, Beacon has announced the next steps in developing its speciality waterproofing sector.
A new leadership team has been named, and two new locations have opened.
Beacon saw specialty waterproofing as a new platform for growth, creating a unique potential to use a countrywide network to better serve customers locally, regionally, and nationally.
“To maximize our growth potential, I have named Alan Ridge, Division Vice President in charge of sales and branch operations, Alex Miranda, Regional Vice President, East, and Steve Artz, Regional Vice President, West,” said Martin Harrell, President of Beacon’s Waterproofing Division.
Furthermore, new branches in Largo, Florida and North Orlando, Florida have opened and are co-located with Beacon’s external building products branches to service contractors whose projects necessitate the use of sealants, coatings, air and vapor barriers, and other waterproofing materials.
Beacon’s waterproofing team’s solution knowledge and technical ability extends from coast to coast through existing locations, with ambitions to expand into more U.S. markets.
These new greenfield locations move us closer to our Ambition 2025 goals. Generating above-market growth is a crucial component of the strategy, which we are continuing to implement.
Beacon has established seven new sites since 2023.
