American Construction Supply will be Acquired by New South

New South Construction Supply, LLC, a distributor of construction products to commercial and residential general contractors and subcontractors throughout the Southeastern United States, has signed a letter of intent to acquire American Contractors Supply (ACS), a distributor and supplier of tilt-up products based in Atlanta, Georgia.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, and American Contractors Supply will continue to operate under the New South Construction Supply brand.

Jason Reuter will take over as tilt-division up’s president, and Ron Barteski will take over as tilt-division up’s vice president, operations.

They will oversee all tilt-up activities for New South Construction Supply.

New South Construction Supply, founded in 1981, is a construction product distributor to general contractors and subcontractors throughout the Southeastern United States, as well as nationally and internationally. The company specializes in concrete and masonry accessories, rebar and wire mesh, tilt-up construction, waterproofing materials, and a variety of other construction products for both commercial and residential projects.

The main office and a branch are in Greenville, South Carolina, with additional branches in W. Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Hardeeville (Hilton Head Island/Savannah, GA) SC; Charlotte, Greensboro, and Garner (Raleigh/Durham), NC, Atlanta, GA, and Jacksonville, FL.
