True Value Introduces Automated Production Facilities

By   /

True Value officials and Mark Kownick, mayor of the Village of Cary, attended a ribbon-cutting event to announce new, modern additions to its True Value Manufacturing site.

The new paint-filling and packaging process, according to True Value, will greatly boost the plant’s ability to fill latex architectural paints at speeds of up to 90 gallons per minute.

“In recent years, True Value has made significant operational investments like these to continue bringing best-in-class products to our retailers and their customers,” True Value CEO Chris Kempa stated. “We will continue to expand True Value Manufacturing capabilities to offer improved efficiency, additional capacity and innovative products to meet growing consumer demand in paint.”

The new technology directly supports the future launch of EasyCare Limitless, the company’s ultra-premium paint brand.

“EasyCare Limitless sits alongside name brand interior premium paints at a lower cost for consumers,” said True Value Manufacturing divisional president John Vanderpool. “In today’s market, our retailers and their customers can take advantage of our manufacturing capabilities to upgrade their homes with products designed to last that won’t break the bank.”

True Value’s Cary, Illinois business, which has been in operation since 1976, produces a variety of goods, including oil and latex paints, stains, cleaning agents, aerosols, and paint applicators.
