Beacon Announces Two Acquisitions

Beacon has acquired two companies: Hayward, California-based Al’s Roofing Supplies, Inc. and Neillsville, Wisconsin-based Prince Building Systems, LLC.

Al’s has been servicing the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years, with four locations in Hayward, Newark, San Carlos, and San Jose. “We are thrilled to announce that Al’s has joined Beacon,” stated Kevin Lewis, Al’s general manager. “By bringing the benefits of Beacon’s footprint and network, we will be able to continue serving our loyal customers while also growing.”

“The trusted relationships Kevin and his team have built will endure and deepen as their capabilities expand as part of Beacon,” said Nevin Holly, Beacon’s Pacific regional vice president.

For more than a decade, lumberyard clients in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have relied on Prince Building Systems. “Prince Building Systems is excited to join Beacon and provide customers with a broader range of services as well as a larger geography,” said Steve Binder, president and CEO of Prince Building Systems.

“We are proud to embrace the customers who rely on Prince Building Systems and provide them with the additional capabilities of Beacon’s industry leadership,” said Clint Wade, Beacon’s national vice president for lumberyards and rural customers.

These additions to Beacon’s residential business help the company meet its Ambition 2025 targets.
