D & M Truss to be Acquired by Tibbetts Lumber

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC has agreed to buy D & M Truss Co. of Pensacola, Florida. The deal is expected to close in late 2022.

The agreement calls for the multi-location building materials supplier based in St. Petersburg, Florida to acquire all of the assets of the single-location roof and floor truss manufacturer.

“Assuming this transaction is completed, D & M Truss’ team and facility will be strategic to our existing Florida operations, allowing for further expansion into Florida’s panhandle, Alabama, and Mississippi, eventually propelling us over the Florida state line.”

D & M provides us with a large geographical footprint to supplement our existing Central Florida truss production, and the team is experienced, disciplined, and well-respected in the marketplace.

Tibbetts Lumber’s U.S. footprint will grow to ten locations across Florida after the transaction is completed. Cox Lumber Ltd., its sister company, has two locations in the Cayman Islands.
