Merger: Real Floors Inc. and Arbor Contract Carpet

Real Floors Inc., a leading family-owned and operated provider of flooring in the multifamily, commercial real estate, and single-family rental industries, announced today that it will merge Arbor Contract Carpet into its family of companies, creating the nation’s leading provider of multifamily flooring solutions.

Real Floors Inc., which will include Real Floors, Real Floors Commercial, and Arbor, will continue to nurture and elevate existing client relationships while providing the industry’s best flooring solutions.

Together, the Real Floors and Arbor families will employ over 700 people across 12 states, with 28 locations serving more than 50 markets from coast to coast.

Real Floors is positioned to best address growing demand, supply chain issues, and other challenges by combining resources while remaining the most trusted, reliable, and easy-to-work-with partner in multifamily flooring installation.

The three companies combined sales of more than $400 million in 2021, including $325 million in replacement services and $75 million in new construction.

Real Floors and Arbor, in addition to providing exceptional multifamily flooring and service, seamlessly integrate their services with today’s leading CRM platforms and industry-leading proptech solutions to provide the ultimate client experience.

With this merger, Real Floors Commercial, which has decades of collective experience ranging from multi-tenant new construction to big box retail to institutional commercial flooring solutions, will be able to better serve their geographically diverse client base.

Brookner will remain CEO at the company’s headquarters in Marietta, GA, while Gilbreth will remain, President of the newly merged company in Denver, CO. Jack Weissman will serve as CFO, Lyn Jacobs as CCO, Scott Wierson as CEO of Commercial, and Jim Chapman as COO of Commercial.

The current logos, trademarks, and company name will be renamed Real Floors. Senior management across the company will continue to motivate and build the industry’s strongest, most passionate teams as Real Floors.
